Leadership and Management Essay
Leadership and Management Assignment
One of the main ways of developing the necessary competencies and skills in the field of nursing is shadowing a professional in the healthcare unit. The shadowing experience assists in observing how the leader/practitioner applies different concepts in their daily activities to deliver high quality care. In line with this notion, I embarked on a shadowing experience involving a nurse manager in the cardiac progressive unit in the hospital I am currently posted.
A key ingredient of being a nurse leader is possessing high-level responsibilities within the healthcare organization. The staff had appropriate ways of handing over from one shift to another. According to my observation, the unit was staffed based on the number of patients who were admitted.................GET A PLAGIARISM FREE COPY
